Are recumbent bicycles comfortable?
Yes, they are the most comfortable bike on the planet.  Most recumbents have a wide padded seat bottom and a seat back.  The seat back can be adjusted to find most comfortable reclined position for the rider.  The comfortable seating reduces stress on the back, neck, shoulders, wrists and hands.
