Ride 64 - December 14, 2008
Yes! Ride 64 will be a car-free bicycling fun event with opportunities to just ride five miles of new pavement or enter a Time Trial and see how fast you can make the loop. We are working with MoDOT to offer a bicycle ride and festivities on the westbound lanes between McKnight and Ballas. Proceeds from the ride will help purchase bike racks for our Bike Parking Demonstration Project and will support our ongoing work toward more and better bicycling in the St. Louis region. Information and registration now open.
Our mission is to make the St. Louis region more friendly, safe, and accessible to people on bicycles through educational outreach, advocacy, and improved facilities. We invite you to explore our site and to support our efforts. There are several ways to support this work, you can join with a membership or sponsorship, make a donation, or volunteer. The Meet and Greet will feature food and non-alcoholic refreshments, opportunity to socialize with members and to view displays of BikeFed achievements and activities.
Come and enjoy food, refreshments, friendship, and get an update on what the St. Louis Regional Bicycle Federation has been doing the past year, and will be doing in the future with your input, feedback and support. Hope you can make it!
Midwest Bicycle Expo & Swap Meet
Our Midwest Bicycle Expo & Swap Meet page is under construction. Look for a new pricing system for vendors this year. And the Classic Bike Show returns with some of the coolest vintage bicycles around. We're adding a Silent Auction with a wide variety of items donated by some of the regions best businesses. This year we're offering a $2-Off coupon for admission, making it cheaper to get in than last year for those who buy tickets. Stay tuned!

New St. Louis Bicycling Products Help Improve Bicycling in St. Louis!

There's never been a better time to commute on your own power. The reasons are many, but the best reason is because it's fun! Okay, we admit that the price of gasoline might be the biggest motivator to get you to try it. But once you've been doing it for a while you'll wonder why you didn't start sooner! If you're new to bike commuting and still have a few questions, you can get the answers you need from our Bike Commuting page or by joining our Yahoo group and asking local cyclists for their suggestions. Getting to work has never been this much fun!
